Lou St. Laurent

Lou Ann St. Laurent, age 64, of Copperas Cove passed away on Friday, July 31, 2020. A private service will be held at a later date.

Lou A. St. Laurent was born on February 28, 1956, in Phoenix, AZ to the late George and Margaret Philbrook St. Laurent. She graduated from Piedmont High School in San Jose, California. Lou married Richard Meinert on September 28, 1974, in Reno, Nevada. They lived in San Jose until 1987 before moving to Portsmouth, NH. She worked hard and attended school at Hesser Community College at night to become a paralegal. Lou worked as a paralegal for over five years before becoming disabled. In her spare time, she loved to sew, crochet, knit, and making things from beads. Her favorite author was Stephen King and she loved his books. Lou also loved to fish. She was raised a Catholic, which was a big part of her life. She passed this on to her children making sure they were in church every Sunday.

Lou was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Richard Meinert; one brother, George St. Laurent; and one grandson, Ryan Meinert.

Lou is survived by her children, Kelli Meinert, Presley Meinert, Brian Meinert; nine grandchildren, Adrian, Gavin, Miah, Sean, Hailey, Megan, Alyssa, Hannah, Giulia; two brothers; four sisters; and numerous nieces and nephews.
