Lorene Allen, 88, of Lampasas passed away on Monday, April 20, 2015 in Lampasas. Graveside Services will be at 1:00 PM on Wednesday, April 22, 2015 at Capital Memorial Gardens in Pflugerville, Texas. Visitation will be from 5-7 PM on Tuesday at Scott's Funeral Home in Copperas Cove.
Lorene was born on June 9, 1926 in Lampasas to the late Jim and Eva Turner Holland. She married T.A. Allen on September 18, 1940 and together they had 7 children. She supported her family through the lean hard times when they were younger. As she got older and her family grew she enjoyed her grandchildren and great grandchildren.
Lorene was preceded in death by her husband, T.A. Allen; sons, James Allen; William Herbert Allen and two infant grandchildren.
Lorene is survived by her children, Eva Alderson, Linda Cummins, Alice Harrell and husband, Robert, Mary Caraway, Ricky Allen; sister, Susie Watkins; 20 grandchildren and numerous great grandchildren and great great grandchildren.
