Lorena A. Yeary

Lorena Yeary, 90 of Lampasas, Texas died Monday September 3, 2018 at Rollins Brook Community Hospital. She was born December 29, 1927 in Lake Victor, TX to parents Walter Adams and Ethel (Davis) Adams. Lorena was a resident of this area most of her life. She married Willerson Yeary December 21, 1943. She was a bookkeeper by profession. Lorena was a member of First Baptist Church, where she served on the bereavement committee for many years. She also taught Sunday School many years. She was a fabulous cook, loved to quilt and sew and do needle work. She also enjoyed reading. She is survived by her husband, Willerson Yeary of Lampasas Son, Michael Yeary of Colorado Daughter, Mary Anne Cast (Stephen) of College Station 5 grandchildren; Autumn Yeary, Seth Yeary, Brooke Cast, Brett Cast (Samantha), Todd Cast (Caroline) 2 great-grandchildren; Violet and Logan Several nieces and nephews also survive.   She was preceded in death by her brother, Cohen Adams and by sister, Zoreta Lambert.   Funeral service will be Friday September 7, 2018 at 11:00 a.m. at First Baptist Church. Burial will follow in Naruna Cemetery. Visitation will be one prior to the funeral at the church.
