Lola L. Williams

Lola Laverne Williams, 93 of Lampasas, Texas died Friday December29, 2017 at Rollins Brook Community Hospital. Lola was born June 28, 1924 in San Saba, TX the daughter of William Patterson and Gertrude (Hooten) Patterson. She attended school at Nix and grew up in the area. She married Lon Curtis Williams May 25, 1941 in San Saba and was a member of Community Church. She worked on the farm for many years and in her 50’s she came to town and worked for Leisure Lodge Nursing Home. After 20 years with them, she worked at Spring Oaks Nursing Home and later, cared for people in their homes.     Graveside service will be held Tuesday January 2, 2018 at Nix Cemetery.   Survivors include daughter, Janice Webber (Mike) of Leander Son, Lonnie Williams (Donna) of Lampasas 4 grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren   Lola was preceded in death by brothers; Willie D. Patterson, J.C. Patterson, T.A. Patterson, Leslie Patterson, Billy Patterson and by sister, Lois Harvey.
