Lloyd D. Tatum, age 55, of Copperas Cove, passed away on Tuesday, June 18, 2019, in Killeen. A gathering will be held from 11 am to 8 pm on Saturday, July 29, 2019, at 904 Cove Ave in Copperas Cove.

Lloyd was born on August 3, 1963, in Cheyenne, WY to the late Harold and Susan Geary Tatum. He graduated from East High School in Cheyenne, WY in 1983. In 1983 he joined the United State Marines and served for 9 months. Lloyd married Crystal Johnson on June 28, 1986, in Cheyenne. For the past 15 years, he worked as a truck driver for Airgas. Lloyd's biggest passion was spending time with his family. He loved going hunting and fishing, going to the beach, and working on cars.

He was known to be a kind and gentle man. He would help anyone who needed it. He loved being a member of the Brazos Bottom Cowographers. He also enjoyed playing Battle Pirates with people from around the world and making many close friends, that he considered family.

Lloyd was preceded in death by his parents; and a son, Trahern Miles Tatum.

Lloyd is survived by his wife, Crystal Tatum; children, Lloyd DeWayne Tatum, Kinsey Jane Bahr and husband, Nathan; godson, Austin William Moan; seven grandchildren, Jasmine Alexis, Isaiah Michael, Gabrielle Riley, Isabelle Mya, Dante Alexander Tatum, Trahern Lee, and Oceana Rae Bahr.

Since his passing was so unexpected and devastating to his loved ones, his family has requested in lieu of plants or flowers that all memorials be made through the gofundme page. Any assistance is greatly appreciated.
