Linda Gail Schaub, 76, of Lampasas, passed away on Saturday, January 6, 2024.

Graveside services will be held at Naruna Cemetery on Thursday, January 18, 2024, at 1 pm.

Linda Gail Schaub was born to Garrett Wolf Jr. and Johnnie Harrell Wolf on May 30, 1947.  Linda Gail grew up in Lampasas, Texas.  She attended the Presbyterian church with her mother, Johnnie.  She graduated from Lampasas High School in 1966.  Following high school, Linda Gail attended San Marcos College where she met and married Brent Schaub.

Brent and Linda Gail returned to Lampasas.  Brent began his long career coaching and teaching, and Linda Gail continued her education at Mary Hardin Baylor University.  She later graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree from there.  

After earning her degree, Linda Gail worked in Fort Hood.  After several years, Linda Gail started selling insurance at Bozarth Insurance Agency, then started selling real estate with her mother, Johnnie Wolf at Midtex Realty until she retired.

Linda Gail loved riding and taking care of her horses.  She participated in Lloyd Woodly Rodeos for several years and was an accomplished barrel racer.

She was preceded in death by her parents.  She is survived by her husband of 56 years, Brent Schaub and her sister, Terry Jane Wolf and many friends all of Lampasas.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations are made to the Lampasas Library or Lampasas Animal Shelter.
