Lidia Sanchez, 80, of Kempner passed away on Saturday, August 11, 2012 in Temple. A private graveside service was held on Tuesday, August 14, 2012 at the Central Texas State Veterans Cemetery.
Lidia Sanchez was born on March 3, 1932 in Italy. After she completed school, she married Quirino Sanchez in Italy and they had their first child there before moving to the Killeen Area. She worked for Century Link, formerly Centel Phone Company, in the 1970’s. Her love was spending time with her family and gardening. She was preceded in death by her parents.
Lidia is survived by her husband of 68 years, Quirino Sanchez; daughter, Margie Chilton and husband Rodney of Round Rock, TX; son, Otto Sanchez and wife Ina of Rockport, TX; grandchildren, Christopher Chilton, Jeremy Sanchez, Nicole Sanchez; 2 great grandchildren and also 4 brothers in Italy.
