Lex Bonjour Long of Lampasas, Texas, was born in Galveston, Texas, October 23, 1967, and passed away on June 10, 2019. Long, Lex is survived by his Mother Avis Jeannine Bonjour Long, wife Shelly McCarty Long, daughters Reya Dey Long and Nyla Brooke Long; brothers Larry and Lance Long and sister Larisa Long Loera and husband Rick; as well as many aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews. Lex loved roast and gravy, steak on the grill, potatoes and corn, skiing on Lake Conroe, visiting the ocean, Reese’s cups, hosting parties for family and friends and the annual shoot-out at the ranch. He was genuine, a good husband, father and a friend to many. If his friends needed a job done, they called Lex and if he needed a job done, they were always there for him. Lex never met a stranger and always had kind words for all. Lex was known by many different names: husband, Dad, brother, uncle and friend. He will always be remembered by all for his love of God, family, friends and his generous heart. Cremation arrangements were entrusted to Sneed Funeral Chapel of Lampasas, Texas. He requested his remains be spread over an area dear to his heart with fond memories of growing up with friends and family and the good times he shared with his wife and daughters over the years. He will forever be missed.
