Kyle Joseph Atwood Vaughn was born on February 26, 1994 in Graham, Texas to parents Gary and Debbie Vaughn. He passed away at his home in Killeen, Texas on August 4, 2023 at the age of 29. Funeral services are scheduled for 10:00 am, Saturday, August 12, 2023 at Sneed Carnley Funeral Chapel in Copperas Cove, TX. Burial will follow at Kempner Cemetery. Visitation with the family will be 5-7 pm, Friday, August 11, 2023 at the funeral chapel.
Kyle grew up in Kempner, Texas with his brother and best friend, Cody. He attended Copperas Cove ISD where he graduated in 2012.
Above all else, Kyle loved to be in the great outdoors. An avid huntsman and fisherman, he held a deep appreciation for all wildlife and experiencing life outside. In his free time, he enjoyed scouting for arrowheads with his brother and spending nights at home
watching movies or putting puzzles together with his wife.
Kyle met his loving wife, Hannah, four years ago. In their four years together, they built a life that was full of community and love. Four months ago, they welcomed a baby girl into the world who soon became Kyle’s whole world. Evenings after work would be
spent dancing in the kitchen with his daughter, Aubree, to records from his collection. Nothing made him happier than these small moments.
Preceding him in death are his grandparents Joseph and Jeanine Franklin; Kenneth and Jessie Atwood.
He is survived by wife Hannah and daughter Aubree of Killeen, Texas; parents Gary and Debbie Vaughn of Kempner, Texas; brother Cody Vaughn, wife Bobbie, and niece Jessie of Kempner, Texas; as well as many friends, family, and coworkers.
Kyle Vaughn will be remembered by all for the big-hearted, goofball he was. He was larger than life and it is a shame his was cut so short. He will forever be in the hearts of all who were fortunate enough to know him.
