Kevin Paul Weatherhead, 56, passed away on August 4, 2022, in Houma, LA. He was born on April 6, 1966, in Menomonie, WI to Charles Weatherhead, Jr. and Helen (Veness) Weatherhead. Services will be held at Adamsville Baptist Church on Friday, August 12, 2022, at 3:00 pm. Kevin grew up outside Exeland, WI, and graduated from Winter High School in 1985. After high school, Kevin joined the Army and served for over 6 years, including Desert Storm. He received the Army Achievement Medal with 4 Oak Clusters, Southwest Asia Services Medal with 2 Bronze Stars, and Kuwait Liberation Medal among others, and was honorably discharged in 1992. After his military service, Kevin worked several jobs including a Schwan's delivery driver, Kempner Water Supply, and as a First Responder to Natural Disasters. Kevin enjoyed watching NASCAR, working on everything from cars to building a jungle gym in the backyard, cooking, and spending time with his family. Kevin was preceded in death by his parents, Helen and Charles Weatherhead, Jr. Survivors include his eight siblings, Francis Weatherhead and his spouse, Luz, of Marysville, WA, Diane Weatherhead of Bellevue, NE, Mark Weatherhead of Eau Claire, WI, Michael Weatherhead, and his spouse, Rodalyn, of Exeland, WI, Darlene Fitzgerald, and her spouse, Thomas of Port Orchard, WA, David Weatherhead, and his spouse, Carrie, of White Bluff, TN, Angela LeRoy, and her spouse, Ken, of Bellevue, NE, and Joel Weatherhead and his spouse, Michelle of Omaha, NE. Additional survivors include Ruby JoAnn Weatherhead; his beloved stepsons, Robert Blalock, and his wife, Molly, of Adamsville, TX, Curtis Blalock of Kempner, TX, Joshua Blalock, and his wife, Sonia of Benbrook, TX; and stepgrandchildren, nieces, and nephews.
