Kenneth Denson

Kenneth L. Denson, age 64, of Briggs passed away on Saturday, February 24, 2018, in Georgetown after a long battle with cancer. A Memorial Service will be held on Friday, March 16, 2018, at 11:00 AM at Scott's Funeral Home in Copperas Cove.

Ken was born in Elmira, NY on August 21, 1953, to the late Richard and Shirley Merrill Denson. He graduated from Killeen High School in 1971 and joined the United States Army. After a short time in the Army, he earned his Masters' Degree in Criminal Justice. He spent 20 years as a probation officer for Jefferson County. After his retirement, he returned home to be close to family in Briggs.

Ken was preceded in death by his parents and a niece, Trina Waller.

Ken is survived by his sister, Terry Shaw; brother, Richard Denson and wife, Lez'le; a cousin and numerous nieces and nephews.
