Kenneth L. Brown

Kenneth L. Brown, 75, of Lampasas, passed away on Saturday, July 13, 2024, at his residence in Lampasas.

Graveside services will be held at Kempner Cemetery on Wednesday, July 17, at 10 am.

Kenneth was born on February 4, 1949, in Lampasas to Davis L. Brown, Jr. and Joyce (Henderson) Brown. He grew up in Kempner and graduated from Lampasas High School. Kenneth faithfully served his country in the US Army from 1969-71. He married Nancy Goodlick on January 18, 1975, in Copperas Cove, TX. For 31 years, Kenneth was self-employed as a stone masonry contractor but also worked as a maintenance mechanic for 13 years at Fort Hood. He and Nancy were faithful members of First Baptist Church Copperas Cove.

Kenneth enjoyed the annual Henderson Family Reunions as well as spending time with his two sons and his grandchildren.

He is survived by his wife of almost 50 years, Nancy Brown; his sons, Adam and wife Jessica, and Aaron; his grandchildren, Caleb, Levi, and Alyssa and his sisters, Shirley Hendrix (Ron) and Pam Haynie (Rick).

Memorials in Kenneth’s name can be made to the First Baptist Church of Copperas Cove or the Lampasas Public Library.
