Karolyn Kaye Eernisse

Karolyn Kaye Eernisse, 75, passed away on Monday, November 9, 2020, in Bryan, Texas. Funeral Services will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, November 14, 2020, at Sneed Funeral Chapel with a visitation an hour prior. Interment will follow at Kempner Cemetery. Karolyn was born July 19, 1945, in Killeen, Texas to Jerome and Nelda Blackwell. She was a proud Texas A&M graduate and spent most of her career as a lab technician for Texas A&M. She was also a member of the Church of Christ and loved her family dearly. Karolyn is preceded in death by her father, J.K. Blackwell, and son, Darrell Smith. She is survived by her mother, Nelda Blackwell; son, Spencer Smith, and fiance, Alyssa Yates of Bryan, Texas daughter-in-law, Debbie Smith; sisters, Sheila Blackwell Hood Eaken and husband, Ken of Boise, Idaho, Glenda Cochran of Arlington, Texas; grandchildren, Dustin Smith and wife, Karleigh, Dacey Smith and fiance, Mickey Wiggins; great-grandchild, Leighton, three nieces, and three nephews.
