Karen B. Taylor

Karen B. “Gooma” Taylor, 69 of Lampasas, Texas died Monday October 28, 2019 at Metroplex Adventist Hospital in Killeen. She was born September 4, 1950 in Merkel, Texas the daughter of Lowell B. Gilbert and Margie L. (Isenburg) Gilbert. She had lived in the area for many years and worked as an office manager for a medical supply company. She had lived in Rockport for several years too. Karen was a member of Assembly of God. She loved her grandkids and spending time with them. She was a fabulous cook and enjoyed cooking for those she loved. She was a big Atlanta Braves baseball fan. She is survived by her children; Delmer Armentrout (Becca) Jody Armentrout (Jennifer) Cody Taylor Marcus Armentrout Kim Williams (Tim) 14 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren Aunts; Laura Gilbert, Sissy Gilbert, Jodie Hobbs, Cora Isenburg and by sister-in-law, Jeanie Gilbert   “Gooma” was preceded in death by her parents, by brother, Ronnie Gilbert.   Memorial service will be Saturday November 2, 2019 at 10:00 a.m. at Sneed Funeral Chapel. Karen’s body will be cremated.
