Karen Tamayo

Karen Yannina Tamayo Enriquez, age 21 of Harker Heights, Texas, passed on from this world on the morning of September 25, 2022. Memorial services will be held at 3:00 pm, Friday, October 7, 2022, at Viss Family Funeral Home 1614 S FM 116 Copperas Cove, TX.

Karen was born on January 10, 2001, in Guatemala to Carley De Jesus Tamayo Velez and Esmeralda Elizabeth Enriquez Velasquez. She grew up and attended school in Killeen, Texas. She was an avid skincare enthusiast, often found at Starbucks enjoying a Carmel Macchiato with an extra shot or devoting her time with family and friends. Karen was only a few classes away from completing her bachelor’s degree in business administration.

Karen is survived by her parents, Carley of Colombia, and Esmeralda of Guatemala; sisters, Lissy and her husband Leonel of Guatemala, Elizabeth and her husband, Aaron, and their children Camila, Matthew, and Ivy of Copperas Cove. Her boyfriend Brandon Shull and their dog Willy of Harker Heights, and everyone that was blessed by her friendship.
