June Reuther

June Reuther, 86 of Lampasas died June 10, 2018 at Wesleyan in Georgetown, TX. A lifelong resident of Lampasas, she was born July 16, 1931 in Lampasas, the daughter of George William (Bill) and Vernadene (Lowe) Brandon.   She graduated from Lampasas High Scholl and Jackson Business College. Mrs. Reuther married A J Reuther on May 16, 1953.   She worked for the U.S. Department of Agriculture (ASCS and FHA) in Lampasas for 39 years, retiring January 1, 1990.   She was preceded in death by her husband A J Reuther, her parents, step-father, Clifford Buchanan, brother, John R. Brandon II, aunts; Ila Brandon Allen, and Johnnie Brandon Jernigan, uncle, Frank E. Lowe.   She is survived by her son, Brad Reuther of Georgetown, nephews; John R. Brandon III and George Robert Brandon and cousin, Ronald Lowe.   Graveside funeral service will be Thursday June 14, 2018 at 10:30 a.m. at Oak Hill Cemetery. Visitation will be Thursday morning from 9 to 10 am at the funeral home.   In lieu of flowers, please make memorials to the charity of your choice.
