Julia Ryan

Julia Gorman Ryan, 79 of Lampasas, TX died Friday March 2, 2018 at Scott and White Hospital in Temple. Julia was bron May 4, 1938 in Brooklyn, NY the daughter of James Gorman and Julia (Donolen) Gorman. She had lived in Lampasas most of her life and was a member of St. Mary’s Catholic Church. She was a professional cook, having worked in many restaurants including Martin’s and Country Kitchen.She loved to travel and being with her family. Julia is survived by 4 children; Arlene Barton (James), Creighton Ryan ( Jenny), Ginger York (Tom), Kevin Martinez (Sheila) Sister, Sally Foster (John) Brother, Danny Gorman Grandchildren; Melissa Anderson (Michael), Rodney Moon (Melissa), Timothy Moon, Ervin Williams, Ernie Williams, Crystal Posey (Sam), Erik Harris, Amanda Turner, Brian Bruns, Kristi Morua (Fidel), Tommy York (Jessica), John York, Emily Martinez, Brittany Martinez 16 great-grandchildren and 5 great great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews and by her dog, Prince.   She was preceded in death by her parents, by an infant son Ted Lee, by son, Theodore Ryan and by 8 brothers.   Julia’s body will be cremated and a memorial service for her held at 2 p.m. April 6, 2018 at St. Mary's Catholic Church.
