Juanna Lou Boyce, 92, of Lampasas, went to be with her Lord and Savior on September 7, 2020. Funeral Service: 1:00 p.m. Saturday, September 12, 2020 at First Street Church of Christ with a reception immediately following the service for all who want to attend. Visitation: 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Friday, September 11, 2020 at Sneed Funeral Chapel. Interment will be private. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made in support of Ciudad De Angeles in Cozumel Mexico, 5240 Roswell Road NE, Marietta, Georgia, 30062 or a charity of your choice. Juanna was born to the late George Harlan and Emma Lois Robinson on September 25,1927 in Quinlan, Texas. Juanna graduated from Quinlan High School in 1944. She married Charlie W. Boyce, Sr. on November, 2, 1947 and they lived together first in Dallas, Texas, then in Greenville, Texas for twenty-eight years before relocating to Lampasas in 1975. Juanna was first and foremost a wife and help mate to her husband of 72 years, Charlie, mother to her children, and nanny to her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She worked in several positions throughout her lifetime and eventually retired from Texas Instruments. She was a life long member of the Church of Christ and spent many years in various roles such as Sunday school teacher, World Bible School and part-time church secretary supporting the church. Juanna was preceded in death by her parents; grandson, Charlie Boyce III (Chase); brother, Harlan Baxter Robinson; niece, Kathy Hitt and son-in-law, Steve Whicker. Juanna is survived by her husband, Charlie; children, Luanne Boyce of Cleburne, Texas, Charlynn Boyce Whicker of Richardson, Texas, Charlie Boyce, Jr. and wife, Penny of Lampasas, Texas, Jeannell Boyce Johnson and husband Les of Cozumel, Mexico; grandchildren, Tanya Johnson of Fort Worth, Texas, Alexie Boyce Kibbe and husband, Brian of Osteen, Florida, Adam Johnson of Bogata, Texas, Tera Boyce Hall and husband, Doug of Bedias, Texas; sisters, Millie Jo Howell and husband, Truman of Corsicana, Texas, Mary Livah Reese of Houston, Texas, Judy Loretta Taylor of Tyler, Texas; brother, James Howard Robinson and wife, Darlene of Quinlan, Texas; nine great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
