Joyce Smith

Joyce A. Smith, age 82, of Copperas Cove passed away suddenly on the morning of April 15, 2019. No formal services are scheduled at this time.

Joyce was born in Edinburgh, Scotland, to the late John and Mary Campbell Greenock. She grew up and attended school in Scotland before coming to the states in the mid 1950's. Joyce retired from Dillard's in the Killeen mall as a bridal consultant after many years. She met Jimmy Smith in 1990 and they later married in 1998 in Copperas Cove. Joyce was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother.

Joyce was preceded in death by her parents and a sister, Patricia Alexander.

Joyce is survived by her husband, Jimmy Smith; children, Elaine Crenshaw and husband, David, Russell Forbus and wife, Jane, Scott Forbus, Luann Wishert and husband, Ted, Paula Chapman, Tina Templeton and husband, Donald; brothers, John Greenock and Jimmy Greenock; 13 grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren and a host of friends that have become adopted into the family.
