Joyce Friels

Joyce Wilson Friels, age 78, of Copperas Cove passed away on Sunday, November 5, 2017. A Memorial Service will be held November 18th starting at 2 PM at St. Martin's Episcopal Church, 1602 S. FM 116 in Copperas Cove.
Joyce was born on June 27, 1939, to the late Harry Max and Zola Mae Hiatt Wilson in Muncie, Indiana. She worked for Central Texas College for 25 years. Joyce was also a faithful member of St. Martin's Episcopal Church. She also enjoyed writing for the Copperas Cove Leader-Press.
Joyce was preceded in death by her parents, her husband; sister, and her son, Jason Friels.
Joyce is survived by her daughter-in-law, Melinda Vijarro-Friels; four granddaughters, Maidson Friels, Jaiden Friels, Cailyn Friels, and Erin Friels.
