John Hilton Smith

John Hilton Smith, 68 of Killeen, TX died Sunday October 21, 2018. He was born September 15, 1950 in Lampasas, TX to Hilton Reagan Smith and Mildred Jeanette (Casbeer) Smith. At the time of his birth, his parents and one sister lived in Killeen. He attended Killeen schools. In 1977 he married Nancy S. Barrington, they had 2 children. They divorced in 2005. All of his life was spent in Killeen Belton area managing his own rental properties. John’s favorite things to do were; camping, fishing and training his dogs. He shared his home with 2 dogs, Bailey and Jack. He is survived by his children; Laura Rice of Belton and Chad Smith of Hutto, 2 sisters; Annette Hyder of Bastrop and Debbie Phillips of Round Rock, many relatives and friends and 2 grandsons, Chase and Evan. Also 2 caring cousins Sledge and Jean Smith.   Graveside funeral service will be Friday October 26, 2018 at 2:00 p.m. at Davis Cemetery.
