John Duncan

John D. Duncan, age 71 of Copperas Cove, passed away on Sunday, Nov. 27, 2016 at his home.Memorial services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, Dec. 3, 2016, at Immanuel Lutheran Church, 922 Lutheran Church Rd., Copperas Cove, Texas. Visitation with the family will follow services in the Parrish Hall.
John was born on July 13, 1945 in Lampasas, to the late Doyle and Edna Nauert Duncan. He grew up in Coryell County and graduated from Copperas Cove High School in 1963. He was a senior lineman for Oncor Electric. He grew up in Immanuel Lutheran Church and was a member of Boots and Saddle Cowboy Church in Gatesville.
He is survived by three daughters, Jamie Duncan, Amber Duncan and Melissa Walters all of Copperas Cove; two sisters, Mary Margaret Anderson and Carol Linda Duncan, both of Copperas Cove; and seven grandchildren.
Memorials may be given to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital or Immanuel Lutheran Church, Missionary Fund.
