Jimmy Don Gray

Jimmy Don Gray, 76 of Lampasas, Texas died Saturday June 20, 2020 at his home. He was born October 11, 1943 in Wichita Falls, Texas to parents J.D. Gray and Margie Vanita (Harris) Gray. After graduating from high school, Jim entered the U.S. Army and proudly served for over 20 years. His duty stations included; Ft. Hood, Korea, Germany, Ft. Devens, and Vietnam. He retired as 1st Sgt. Jim enjoyed playing golf and visiting with his neighbors. He was known by nickname “The Old Milwaukee cowboy”. He is survived by his daughter, Jennifer Snyder Grandson, Johnathon Burns (Nia) Grandchildren, Paisley and Kinsley Burns Graveside funeral service with military honors will be Saturday June 27, 2020 at 10 a.m. at Oak Hill Cemetery in Lampasas.
