Jimmie Ray Prince, Sr., 84, of Lampasas, passed away at his home in Lampasas on March 28, 2025.
Visitation will be held at Sneed-Carnley Funeral Chapel on Friday, April 4, 2025, from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. Graveside services will be at Kempner Cemetery on Saturday, April 5, 2025, at 10 a.m.
Jimmie was born on December 22, 1940, in Balch, Arkansas, to Alfred and Dorothy (Fowble) Prince. He faithfully served his country for 21 years in the US Army. After his retirement from the military, he served in numerous supervisor and management roles with the City of Bay City and the City of Killeen.
Jimmie was preceded in death by his parents, his wife, Tommie Prince, and his brothers, Harry, Oscar Houston, and Wallace, and his sisters, Daisy and Flora.
Jimmie is survived by his wife, Lupe Prince; his sons, Jimmie Prince, Jr., and Joe Prince and wife Elena; his stepson, Edmundo R. Monarque and wife Monica; his brothers, John Prince and wife Joann and Glen Prince and wife Marie; his grandchildren, Dylan Prince and Patrick Prince; his step grandchildren, Amanda, Eddie, Jr., Eddie Richard, Victoria, Christina, and Jacob; his nephew, David Prince and numerous other nieces, nephews and great-grandchildren.
