Jimmie Clinton Jones

Jimmie Clinton Jones, 87 of Lometa, TX died March 18, 2018 at his home. He was a member of First Baptist Church in Lometa. He was born July 18, 1930 in Kerr County, TX to Clinton Dewitt Jones and Fannie Jane (Baldwin) Jones. Jimmie retired from the U S Army after 21 years as Staff SGT, serving in Japan, Korea, Germany, France and Vietnam. He loved to hunt and be outdoors. He is survived by his wife, Marcella Jones Daughters; Julie McIlhaney and husband Roy Gidget Hansen and husband Andy Step-children; Dennis Guenter, Michael Guenter and Dee Ann Glisovic Several grandchildren and great-grandchildren   He was preceded in death by his parents, by his first wife JoAnn Jones, a son Joel Jones and by daughter Jeannie Punsack.   Visitation will be Thursday March 22, 2018 from 5-7 p.m. at Sneed Funeral Chapel. Funeral service will be Friday March 23, 2018 at 10:00 a.m. at Sneed Funeral Chapel.Burial will follow in Naruna Cemetery. Memorials may be sent to the charity of your choice.
