Jimmie Mae Johnson, age 90, passed away Wednesday August 2, 2017 in Lampasas, Texas. Services are scheduled for 3:00 PM Sunday, August 6, 2017, at Scott’s Funeral Home of Copperas Cove. Burial will follow at Maxdale Cemetery. There is no set visitation.
Jimmie was born January 18, 1927 in Georgetown, Texas. She was the daughter of James Washington Adams and Elva Iona Alexander Adams. Jimmie married Clyde Eldon Johnson on August 5, 1950 in Austin, Texas. She was housewife and homemaker. Jimmie raised two sons and was a loving grandmother to three grandsons.
She was preceded in death by her parents and three sisters, Pennie Duncan, Tommie Spears and Barbara Hargrove.
Jimmie is survived by her husband of 66 years, Clyde Eldon Johnson; sons, Larry Dale Johnson and Clyde Michael Johnson and wife Sandy; grandchildren, Barton Johnson and wife Chelsea, Gerald Johnson and wife Jessica and Blake Johnson and wife Bethany and one great granddaughter; Sterlynn Johnson.
