Jesus A Subia

Jesus A. (Jesse) Subia, 75 of Lampasas, Texas died Monday May 18, 2020 at Lampasas Nursing and Rehabilitation. He was born April 9, 1945 in Fort Stockton, Texas to parents Manuel Subia and Juanita (Acosta) Subia. After high school graduation he attended Howard Payne University, where he obtained his undergraduate degree. He later earned his Master’s degree at American Technological University in Killeen. Jesse had a career as a substance abuse counselor. He married Sharon Goodlick in 1967 and been a resident of the central Texas area since 1969. He was a member of 1st Baptist Church in Copperas Cove, where he taught Sunday School and served as a deacon for many years. He enjoyed talking to people, playing his guitar and tinkering in his woodworking shop. He is survived by his wife, Sharon Subia Daughter, Shanda Subia Jesse was preceded in death by his parents, by brother, and one sister. Jesse’s body will be cremated and no formal service is planned.
