Jerry N. Wash

Jerry N. Wash, 73 of Lampasas, TX died Thursday January 10, 2019 at Rollins Brook Community Hospital. He was born July 25, 1945 in San Saba, TX the son of Marion and Clara (Smith) Wash. He lived in Richland Springs, TX and graduated from Richland Springs High School. He attended college before going to work for the Texas Department of Health as a meat inspector. He did that job for about 22 years, and the last 13 years he was a zoologist specialist. He retired in 2004. He loved to hunt, barbeque, spin hunting tales with his buddies and enjoyed card night with his friends. He is survived by his wife, Eileen Wash of Lampasas Daughter, Tamra Wash of Uvalde, TX Step-children; Deb and Sam Ray, Joe and Jane Headley, Patrick and Jodi Allard, Jennifer and Jeff Sievert, Penny Swanson and Shannon Lehmkuhl. Sister and brother-in-law, Elizabeth and Tom Atchison. Nephews, Mike and Alan Atchison Niece, Susan Carson and Troy   Jerry was preceded in death by his parents, by grandparents.   Funeral service will be Tuesday January 15, 2019 at 10:00 a.m. at Sneed Funeral Chapel. Burial will follow in Richland Springs Cemetery. Visitation is Monday night at 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. at Sneed Funeral Chapel. Memorials may be sent to Grace Fellowship Church, Youth Fund
