Jeremy Travis Hale, 46, of Lampasas, passed away on Monday, November 21, 2022. A memorial visitation will be held at Sneed-Carnley Funeral Chapel on Sunday, November 27, 2022, from 5 to 7 pm. Memorial services will be held at Sneed-Carnley Funeral Chapel on Monday, November 28, 2022, at 11 am. Jeremy was a faith warrior and loved the Lord. He spent hours in prayer and could quote scriptures as if he was born with them in his heart. Jeremy's love of music was only second to his love for the Lord and his family. He lead worship at First United Methodist Church where he touched so many and later went on to graduate with a degree in music production. He wrote many songs and performed at various venues around Central Texas, but his favorite venue was on the back porch surrounded by his most ardent fans, his family. One of Jeremy's favorite places on this earth was the Frio River. There were many family camping trips to the Frio with a lot of fishing, floating, game playing, singing, and dancing. In fact, he loved the Frio so much that he wrote a song about it called "Frio River". It's on Spotify, look it up! Lastly, Jeremy and Hannah's daughter, Ella, was actually baptized in the cool waters of the Frio. Jeremy honorably served his nation in the US Army from 2007 to 2013. He was deployed to Iraq during Operation Iraqi Freedom where he served with the 1st Air Cavalry as an Aviation Operations Specialist. He loved serving his country and proudly displayed his Veteran status. Jeremy is survived by his adoring wife, Hannah, and three children, Devin Hale of Eugene, OR, Amber Hale of Eugene, OR, Ella Beth Hale of Lampasas; his parents, J.D. (Terry) Slingerland of Paducah, TX, Vicki Hale of Corpus Christi, TX; sister, Tiffani (Gabe) Cisneros; brother, Josh (Thoa) Hale all of Corpus Christi, TX and numerous nieces and nephews. The family would like to extend heartfelt gratitude for the prayers, cards, and concerns expressed by all who knew and loved Jeremy. He touched so many with his music ministry and witness to his Lord. Special thanks to everyone at Beacon Hospice and the entire staff at Rollins Brook Hospital for their unwavering care during Jeremy's last hours on this earth. It was Jeremy's fervent wish that in lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to his daughter's education fund. Checks may be made payable to Ella Hale, c/o First Texas Bank, PO Box 671, Lampasas, TX, 76550.
