Jean Ann Harrison

August 2, 1945 — March 16, 2020

Jean was born on August 2, 1945 at Ft. Devens, Massachusetts to John H. and Barbara E. Kay Hargreaves and raised in Methuen, MA. She peacefully passed away at her home surrounded by her family in the early morning of March 16, 2020. She had a wonderful, full, healthy life and was always on the go. She was very active in Order of Eastern Star and was currently the Grand Representative of Iowa for the Grand Chapter of Texas, OES. She absolutely cherished all her friends, was fun loving and loved her travels. She was a member of the Episcopal Church. Those left to cherish her memory are her husband, Alton L. Harrison of Lampasas, daughters Darla Jean Kreiser Taylor and husband Ray of San Antonio, Ramona Kay Kreiser Hall and husband Gary of Brownfield, sons James Robert Harrison of Dallas and Paul Christopher Harrison of Lampasas. One of her cherished roles was being Grammy to 12 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren. Jean is also survived by her younger siblings Robert (Julie) Hargreaves of Green Bay, WI, Donna Bryant of Jacksboro, Cherie (David) Dugger of Lampasas and Diane (Rick) Talbot of Londonderry, NH. She is preceded in death by her three-year old daughter Deborah Lynn in 1968 and by her parents. Visitation is Friday March 20, 2020 from 5-7 pm at Sneed Funeral Chapel. A memorial service will be Saturday March 21, 2020 at 10 am at Sneed Funeral Chapel. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Austin Cancer Center c/o Dr. Stephen Brown 2000 Scenic Dr #G002 Georgetown, TX 78626 (for Triple Negative Breast Cancer). The cancer might think it won the battle, but we give the good Lord credit for blessing her and calling her home, as her work here was complete.
