James Maurice Sharbeno

James Maurice Sharbeno, a beloved retired fireman, was born on September 3, 1970, in Shreveport, Louisiana. He passed away on January 20, 2025, in Killeen, Texas, surrounded by those who loved him.

James was not only known for his dedicated service in the fire department, but he also served briefly as a medic in the military, where he met his beloved wife, Catherine Sharbeno, who has since predeceased him. He was a kind, welcoming, fun, and silly person who touched the lives of many throughout his journey.

He is survived by his daughter, Caitlin Sharbeno; his son, Joshua Sharbeno; his grandchildren, Joseph and Mara Jude; and his mother, Beth. James was preceded in death by his father, Lloyd Sharbeno.

A visitation to honor James will be held on February 10, 2025, starting at 10:00 AM, followed by a memorial service at 11:00 AM, at the Copperas Cove Location, located at 1614 S FM 116, Copperas Cove, TX 76522. The memorial service will conclude at noon.

James Maurice Sharbeno will be remembered for his warm spirit, dedication to service, and the love he shared with his family and friends. His legacy will continue to live on in the hearts of those who knew him.
