James Anthony (Tony) Anderson

James Anthony “Tony” Anderson died Tuesday June 25, 2019 at St.David’s Hospital in Georgetown, TX. He was born April 6, 1947 in Amarillo, Texas to parents John Arthur Anderson and Edwina (Hensley) Anderson. Tony lived in Lampasas most of his life. He married Sue Ellen Hulsey March 1, 1969 and was a member of First Baptist Church in Lampasas. Tony was a machinist by trade and enjoyed fishing and working with his hands. He especially enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren. He was one of the longest surviving organ recipients, having received a kidney donated by his sister. He is survived by his wife, Sue Ellen Anderson Sons; Wade Anderson Brian Anderson (Teya) Daughter, Stacy Grayless (James) Sister, Beverly Kay Baty Brother, David Ray Anderson (Dora) Grandchildren; Samona Anderson, Sierra Dockery, Keaton Dockery, Manny Rodriguez, Kenzi Rodriguez, Adam Kelly, Mathew Kelly, Nathan Maples. Great-grandchildren; Rebecca Cimino, Serenity Cimino, Zaylee Tucker.   Tony was preceded in death by his parents, by brothers, Mike, Butch and Dean Anderson, by grandson Kole Anderson and by step-Dad, James “Skeets” Risinger.    Funeral service will be Saturday June 29, 2019 at 10:00 a.m. at Sneed Funeral Chapel. Burial will follow in Warner Cemetery. Family will receive visitors Friday June 28, 2019 from 5-7 pm at 1496 CR 4700 Kempner, Texas.
