Jade Hammons - Milo

August 13, 1969 — June 20, 2022

Jade Piper Hammons-Milo, 52, passed away on the morning of June 20th in her home in Copperas Cove, Tx.

Jade Piper was born to Jerry David Hammons and Donna Michel on August 13th, 1969, in Carlsbad, NM.  She went to school in Oklahoma City.  Jade married Rook Milo on October 27th, 2015 in Copperas Cove. Before she was disabled, Jade worked as a Game Master for Blizzard Entertainment.

Jade was an incredibly kind, considerate, helpful, and sincere person. Despite the disabling chronic illnesses that she suffered, she would do anything to be of support. She was a passionate storyteller, as any of her friends can attest, and her skill with role-playing games was beyond comparison. She was a lover of nature, art, and music. Her outer nature was quiet, sensitive, and shy, but this belied an inner vibrance and a sharp wit. She will be missed and honored by her husband, family, and friends.

She is preceded in death by her beloved mother, Donna Michel.

Jade is survived by her husband, Rook Milo; her father Jerry Hammons; her siblings, Lacey Hammons-Orlikowski and Michel Hammons; grandmother Sally Michel; aunts, Jan Butts and Judy Michel Gray; and uncle, Jackie Michel.

The family of Jade Piper wishes to extend our sincere thanks to Viss Family Funeral Home for their kind and sincere assistance, as well as the services of the Copperas Cove first responders who worked hard to save her life.
