Henry Edward Sharp, 89 of Lampasas, Texas died Sunday June 17, 2018 at his home. He was born in Brady, TX to Henry James Sharp and Leapey Jane (Cox) Sharp. He enlisted in the U S Navy immediately after high school graduation. He served from August 1948 until July 1952. He was very proud of his service to his country. Hank worked as a technician in Alaska before returning to Texas, where he managed a Texaco Service Center. He later served as a police officer in Lampasas for 5 years. He later worked for Hoffpauir Chevrolet and retired from there. Hank was also known to close friends and family as red bird because of his love for singing and whistling. He was a loving husband and father. He loved being outdoors. He loved most of all his Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. He is survived by wife, Juanita Sharp Son, Steve Sharp Daughter, Jackie Boxburger 7 grandchildren     He was preceded in death by his parents, by 2 brothers; Henry Elden Sharp and Henry James Sharp Jr., by 3 sisters; Lois Oleta Beam, Maretta May Cain, Norma Lea Blair.   Graveside funeral service will be Thursday June 21, 2018 at 10:00 a.m. at Oak Hill Cemetery. Visitation and viewing will be Wednesday June 20, 2018 from 4-5 p.m at Sneed Funeral Chapel.
