Haley Burden
July 22, 1933 — July 26, 2016
Haley Burden, age 83 of Copperas Cove, passed away on Tuesday, July 26, 2016 at his home. Memorial services will be held at 3:00 PM on Sunday, July 31, 2016 at 5 Hills Cowboy Church, 139 CR 4630 in Kempner, with Pastor Robin Traweek officiating. Private family interment with military honors will be held at the Kempner Cemetery.
Mr. Burden was born on July 22, 1933 in Houston. He served in the US Navy from 1953 - 1961 as an engineer, MM2. He was a veteran of the Korean War Era.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Georgia Agnes Burden on November 9, 2009.
He is survived by a son, James Ray Burden and wife, Renate; six grandchildren, Lisa Wolfe, Sonya Gilley, Jennifer Richard, Nicholas Burden, Sherry Reed, Jessica Goree; 19 great-grandchildren; and several great-great grandchildren. He will be missed by all who loved him.
