Grace Singleton

Grace Singleton, of Georgetown, passed away on August 16, 2019. A viewing will be held from 5 to 7 PM, on Wednesday, August 21, 2019, at Scott’s Funeral Home in Copperas Cove.  A private family graveside service will be held at a later date.

Grace was born near Sulphur Springs, Texas, Hopkins County on July 10, 1918.  She was preceded in death by Doyle Matthew Singleton, her husband of 58 years and a son, Doyle Eugene Singleton.  Both Grace and Doyle were longtime residents of Copperas Cove.  Grace is survived by her son, Ronny Dee Singleton, daughter-in-law, Ellen Singleton, and grandson, Noah Lyn Singleton.  Grace was the wife of a WWII POW/MIA, and avid hiker around Copperas Cove, a member of the First United Methodist Church of Copperas Cove, a poodle groomer, waitress, softball player, housewife, and mother.  Grace has been a resident of the Wesleyan at Estrella Independent Living Residence since 2008.  Grace was a member of the First United Methodist Church of Copperas Cove.

In lieu of flowers, Grace has requested donations to the Williamson County, Humane Society, Georgetown, Texas.
