Gary White

Gary Dale “Honey-Cowboy” White, 74, of Granbury, TX, passed away on October 2nd, 2020 in Copperas Cove, TX.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM Saturday, October 17th, 2020 at Viss Funeral Home; 1614 S FM 116 Copperas Cove, TX 76522.

Gary was born in Fort Worth, TX to Oscar Lee White and Floretta Steppick White on December 14th, 1945. He married Mary Tackett White on December 6th, 1969 in Rendon, TX. He worked as the Vice President of Sales and Marketing for Ramtech Building Systems Inc. for 30 years.

He was a veteran of the Vietnam War and served in the Army and was awarded Purple Heart, National Defense Service Medal, Vietnam Service Medal, Vietnam Campaign Medal, Combat Infantry Badge, and one Overseas Service Bar.

Gary is preceded in death by Father, Oscar Lee White, Mother, Floretta Steppick White, and Daughter; Michele White Boswell.

Gary is survived by Wife; Mary Tackett White, Son; Gary D. White Jr., Daughters;  Rhonda Sue Bechtold and husband, Donald Bechtold, Leigh Ann Brin, and husband, Dale Brin, and Sherralyn Dale: Son-in-law, Harlan “Ott” Boswell, Brother; Charles Archer and wife Patricia Archer, Sisters; Melba Archer Cavender and Sharon White Outenreath, Grandchildren; Cameron D. White, Emily M. Stafford, Randle Browning, Mark Dube, Adam Dube, Josh Dube, Mary Connell, Sean Connell, and Seth Connell, Great Granddaughters; Harlan Read Browning and Grayson Sue Dube
