Gary Bohanan, Jr.

Gary Bohanan, Jr., age 76, of Copperas Cove, passed away on Monday, December 16, 2019. Funeral Services will be at 10:00 am, Friday, December 20, 2019, at Scott's Funeral Home with burial following at Copperas Cove City Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 5-7 PM on Thursday, December 19, 2019, at Scott’s Funeral Home.

Gary was born on September 9, 1943, in Leander, Texas to the late Marvin and Mary Gilmore Bohanan. He graduated from Deer Park High School in 1961. Gary was a lifelong electrician, owning his own company for many years in Texas City, Texas. He married Gale Howe in Las Vegas on March 10, 1992. In 1997, he retired and they moved to Burnet. Together they enjoyed fishing and hunting in the Hill Country. In 2013, they moved to Lampasas and then to Copperas Cove. Gary will be remembered for his sense of humor and his ability to make friends anywhere he went.

Gary was preceded in death by his parents; and his son-in-law, Lonnie LeBlanc

Gary is survived by his wife, Gale Bohanan; son, Adam Bohanan and wife, Stacie; daughters, Laura Elizabeth Milner, Debra Kathleen Reynolds and husband, Brandon, Ashley LeBlanc; sister, Eva Jean Husband; seven grandchildren, Nathan, Kolby, Bryce, Ashton, Logan, Kyle, Avery, and several nieces and nephews.
