Gary Lynn Anderson

Gary Lynn Anderson, 75 of Lampasas, TX died Monday March 16, 2020 at his home. He was born January 29, 1945 in Georgetown, TX to Gordon Anderson and Ruby (Frymire) Anderson. He married Mattie E. Cantrell November 10, 1988 and she preceded him in death. He was raised in Florence, TX. Gary joined the military at a young age and served in the U.S. Army for 27 years retiring as MSG in 1991. Retirement wasn’t for him so he went back to college and got training in HVAC. He was a member of Mt. Hiram Masonic Lodge in Copperas Cove. He had been a Mason for over 30 years. He is survived by his daughter, Stephanie Sweet and husband Calvin Grandchildren; Chelbi Foote, William Anderson (Autumn), Kenneth Mask IV (Madison), Stephen Mask, Loralee Foote, Cory, Foote, Susan Lynch, Ty Herring, Hadyn Sweet. Great-grandchild, Brileigh Foote Gary was preceded in death by his parents, wife, son Vernon and step-father, Edgar Milstead. Funeral service will be Saturday March 21, 2020 at 2:00 p.m. at Sneed Funeral Chapel. Visitation is one hour prior to service. Gary’s body will be cremated after the funeral.
