Fredrick L. Schamberger

Fredrick L. Schamberger, 73 of Lampasas, TX died Friday February 23, 2018 at Copperas Cove Nursing-Rehab. Fred was born February 13, 1945 in Eau Claire, WI the son of Jesse Schamberger and Eleanor (Johnson) Schamberger. He grew up in Wisconsin and after high school graduation joined the army. He served in Panama, Vietnam and Germany. After his military service, Fred went back to school and earned his Bachelor’s degree in nutrition science. He spent the remainder of his professional career in food service. His hobby was ceramics. He bought and sold anything related to ceramics. Fred is survived by his wife, Hsiu Chin Schamberger of Lampasas Son, Kenneth Schamberger 4 granddaughters; Steffi, Sierra and Stella Schamberger and Meagan Nelson He was preceded in death by 2 daughters; Susan Schamberger Nelson and Tammy Schamberger   A visitation will be held from 6:00pm to 8:00pm on Friday March 2, 2018 at the Sneed Funeral Chapel in Lampasas, TX. Graveside funeral services will be at 11:00am Saturday, March 3, 2018 at Oak Hill Cemetery.
