Funeral services for Frances Evangeline “Vangie” Freeman, age 90 of Lampasas will be Saturday January 26, 2019 at 2:00 p.m. at Sneed Funeral Chapel. Minister Rocky Moncus will officiate. Burial will follow in Watson Cemetery. Visitation is Friday from 5-7 p.m. at Sneed Funeral Chapel. Mrs. Freeman passed away January 20, 2019 at Metroplex Hospital in Killeen. She was born November 24, 1928 in Burnet County, TX to parents Leslie W. Cox and Lillian Pearl (Hayden) Cox. She spent her youth and high school years in Lampasas. She married Alvin R. Freeman August 30, 1952. She was a housewife and mother and sold Avon products for 40 years. Vangie was a member of First Street Church of Christ in Lampasas, where she taught Sunday School to 4 year old class for many years.     She was preceded in death by her parents, by brother, James Cox and by her husband Alvin R. Freeman.   Survivors include 2 daughters; Francine Freeman of Dallas and Alice Freeman of Lampasas. Brother, Billy Cox and wife Patricia of Whitney. Several nieces and nephews
