Floyd Dale Forehand

Floyd Dale Forehand, 84, of Lampasas passed away on Thursday, November 12, 2020. Funeral Services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Monday, November 16, 2020, at First Street Church of Christ with a visitation an hour prior. Interment will follow at Senterfitt Cemetery in Lometa, TX. Floyd was born on December 9, 1935, in Lampasas to Floyd and Mary Lou Forehand. He graduated from Lampasas High School and Abilene Christian College. Floyd married Marguerite Crumley on December 28, 1959, and they celebrated 55 years of marriage prior to her death in 2014. He taught and coached at various locations around Texas during a 40-year career. Floyd was preceded in death by his parents; wife, Marguerite; son, Mike Forehand, and grandson, Jarrett Conner Forehand. Survivors include his daughters, Vicki Forehand of Alvarado, Sandy Roe and husband, Tim of Cibolo; son, Gary Forehand and wife, Jeannie of Abilene; sister, Bobbye Machen, and husband, Al of Brady; grandchildren, Katie Simmons, Lyndsay Dollar, John Roberts, Austin Roberts, Brantley Forehand, Lance Forehand, Cassidy Forehand, Jackson Forehand, Hunter Roe, Shelby Roe, and eight great-grandchildren.
