Florine Alexander

Frankie Florine Alexander, 99 of Lampasas, Texas died Saturday Novemebr 30, 2019 at Lampasas Nursing and Rehabilitation Center. She was born May 14, 1920 in Hillsboro, Texas to parents John Franklin Climer and Myrtle Ivy (McDonald) Climer. She moved with her family to Lampasas in 1933 from San Saba. Florine graduated from Lampasas High School in 1937. She married Joe Alexander in Lampasas. Florine was a homemaker and later taught kindergarten at First Baptist Pre-school from 1969 until 1985. She was a member of First Baptist Church for many years. She is survived by 2 children; Daughter, Dianne Baker and husband Winston of Lampasas Son, Thomas Wren Alexander of Lampasas 4 grandchildren; Vicki Ware, Ronny Baker, Seve Alexander and John Alexander 5 great-grandchildren; Mindi, Tamara, Bart, Colton and Austyn 4 great great-grandchildren; Jax, Kage, Anson and Grant   Florine was preceded in death by her parents, by husband in 1993, by her son Joe Jon Alexander in 1954, and by her brother James Donald Climer in 2002 and by sister, Mary Lou McFarland in 2003.   Graveside funeral service will be Tuesday December 3, 2019 at 2:00 p.m. at Oak Hill Cemetery.
