Felix De Leon, 83, of Lampasas passed away on Sunday, September 20, 2020. A Memorial Service will be held at Oak Hill Cemetery at a later date. Felix was born on March 31, 1937, in Adamsville, Texas to Francisco and Maria De Leon. He was a very loving husband, father, and PoPo. Felix loved spending time with his grandsons and going to Gattiland and Chuck E. Cheese with them. He also was able to go on his first cruise in September 2017 and enjoyed every second of it. Felix was also a big fan of Tejano music and he and his wife Mary were well known to be the dancing couple. Felix was a very hard worker and growing up he sheered sheep and worked picking cotton. He started working at Weiser Mills in July 1965 which became Evergreen Mills and retired from there in 2002. In his later years, Felix enjoyed relaxing at home and sitting at the park. Felix was also a longtime member of St. Mary's Catholic Church in Lampasas. He was preceded in death by his wife, Mary in 2013 and several brothers and sisters. Survivors include his daughter, Sophia De Leon, and husband, Patricio Barrientos; step-daughter, Beatrice Rosales; step-son, Mark Reyna; grandchildren, Jonathan Lopez, P.J. Barrientos, Elias Barrientos; sister, Gregoria Loya; and numerous step-grandchildren.
