Eva May Brown, 91 of Lampasas, TX died Tuesday November 20, 2018 at Lampasas Nursing and Rehabilitation. She was born October 2, 1927 in Greenfield, MA the daughter of George Moore and Florence (Birger) Moore. Eva lived in Massachusetts until about age 15 then moved with her sister to California. While in the San Diego area she met Harold M. Brown. They were married August 24, 1951 in Yuma, Arizona. The family lived in the Waco area for several years and then moved to Evant, TX in 1969. She was the secretary for Harold Brown and Sons Inc. for many years, all while raising 4 boys. Eva loved to read and travel. She was a member of the Presbyterian Church in Lampasas. She was also a member of the Red-Hatter’s and enjoyed line dancing. She loved attending her children and grandchildren’s school and sports activities. She is survived by her 4 sons; Rex Brown (Kathy) of Lampasas Terry Brown (Frances) of Temple, Joe Brown (Sharlyn) of Lampasas, Danny Brown (Laurie) of Waco. Grandchildren; Katrina Kothmann (Rex), Kara Brown, William Brown (Brandee), Wesley Brown (Carina), Taryn Johnson (Garrett), Hadley Brown, Travis Brown, Monica Brown, David Shea. Great-grandchildren; Kandice Morua, Kamryn Kothmann, Ross Kothmann, Katelyn Kothmann, Noah Brown, Sophia Brown and Easton Johnson. She was preceded in death by her husband Harold Brown April 1, 1996 and by sister Eunice Leukhart and by brother, Frederick Moore. Funeral service will be Friday November 23, 2018 at 11:00 a.m. at Sneed Funeral Chapel. Visitation is one hour prior to the funeral.
