Eliana Trosper

Eliana B. Trosper, 78, of Copperas Cove passed away on Wednesday, August 12, 2015. A Memorial Mass will be held at 1:00 PM, Saturday, August 22, 2015, at Holy Family Catholic Church in Copperas Cove. Private burial of her cremains will follow at the Copperas Cove City Cemetery.

Eliana was born on August 28, 1936 in Pola, Italy to the late Francesco and Alessandra Schilhawiy Bassi. She grew up in Pola, Itlay until WW II ended and her family was forced into Marina Di Pisa also in Italy. Eliana later met the late Thomas E. Trosper, Sr. while he was serving in the United States Army. They married on January 27, 1965. In 1967 they moved to the United States and were stationed in Presidio in San Francisco, CA. They were later stationed at Ft. Hood and made their home in Copperas Cove in 1972. Eliana was a faithfully member of the Holy Family Catholic Church. One of her proudest moments was in 1975 when she became an American citizen.

Eliana was preceded in death by her parents; husband; and sister, Romana Mitton.

Eliana is survived by her daughter, Sandra Seim and husband, Scot of Magnolia, TX; son, Tommy Trosper of Copperas Cove; sister, Annamaria Bassi;  and 4 grandchildren, Tara Seim, Cami Seim, Cody Trosper and Ashley Trosper.
