Elfi Mainville

Elfriede Mainville, 70, passed away on June 23, 2024, at Lampasas Assisted Living in Lampasas, Texas.  Elfi was born on August 12, 1953, in Schweinfurt, German to Georg Lang and Katherine Fehler.

Visitation will be held at Sneed-Carnley Funeral Chapel, 201 E. Third St., Lampasas, TX, 76550 on Monday, July 8, 2024 from 5 to 7 pm.  Services will be on Tuesday, July 9, 2024 at 10:30 am at Sneed-Carnley Funeral Chapel Lampasas.  Burial will be at the Central Texas State Veteran's Cemetery.

Elfi grew up in Sennfeld, Germany.  She graduated from school and went on to be a baker's apprentice.  She kept busy as a homemaker and tax preparer for H&R Block.

Elfi married Ray "Sarge" Mainville in 1971 in Schweinfurt, Germany.  They were happily married for 47 years until Sarge's passing in 2018.  Elfi was a devout member of Five Hills Assemblies of God.  She also enjoyed being involved with the Copperas Cove Club at Sarge's side.

Elfi is survived by her son, Ray and spouse Tracy Mainville of McKinney, TX; her daughter, Angie and spouse Tommy Rushton of Pflugerville, TX; her son, Alan Mainville of Copperas Cove, TX; her daughter, Joy Mainville of Copperas Cove, TX; her grandchildren, Katie, Ryan, Noah, Faith, and Emma as well as her nieces, nephews and other relatives.
