Edith B. Goff

Edith B. Goff, 80 of Lampasas, Texas died Tuesday December 31, 2019 at Baylor Scott & White Medical Center Hillcrest in Waco, TX. She was born February 20, 1939 in Ansbach Germany to parents Johann Friedrich Meyer and Maria Margarete (Buettner) Meyer. Edith grew up in Germany and became a U.S. citizen in 1981. She was owner and operator of Goff German Bakery for many years. She had been married two times and both husbands preceded her in death. She was a member of VFW Ladies Auxiliary and DAV Auxiliary. Edith is survived by niece Martina and nephew Frank in Germany and their families; by her step children; Chuck Tallman Jr. and wife Colleen of NY Naomi Rymer and husband Ken of NY, Kovette Rowlan and husband Josh of TX, Cristal Falcon and husband David Daughter-in-law, Tolly Tallman of NY Brother-in-law, Bob Tallman Sisters-in-law; Marcia, Nancy and Shirley 17 grandchildren and 7 great-grandchildren   Edith was preceded in death by her parents, by step-son and sisters   Memorial service will be Sunday January 19, 2020 at 3:00 p.m. at Sneed Funeral Chapel.   In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to St. Jude’s Children’s Hospital, DAV.org, or the local animal shelter.
