Doyle Wayne Dalton

Doyle Wayne Dalton, 71 of Lampasas, TX died Thursday November 23, 2017 at Temple Veterans Hospital. Doyle was born September 25, 1946 in Lampasas, TX the son of Olen Wayne Dalton and Dorothy Salina (Rhymes) Dalton. He was a lifetime resident of Lampasas. He served in the U.S. Army during Vietnam and later his career was in pest control. He married Karen R. Durrenberger and was a member of Assembly of God. He loved music, James Dean, Ford Mustangs and bingo.   Visitation will be Sunday November 26, 2017 from 5:30-8:30 p.m. at Sneed Funeral Chapel. Funeral service will be Monday November 27, 2017 at 10:00 a.m. at Sneed Funeral Chapel. Burial will follow in the Oak Hill Cemetery.   Survivors include wife, Karen Dalton Children; Richard Dalton, Lanell Dalton, Olen Dalton, Keith Dalton, Tricia Cooper, Karrie Flemens, Jimmy Webb, Wyatt Webb. Father, Olen Wayne Dalton 2 sisters; Sissie Orr, Loreene Glenn Brothers; Jay Dalton, Harvey Dalton, John Glenn, Homer Glenn, Tony Glenn, Clifford Dalton, Vernon Dalton 23 grandchildren and 5 great-granddaughters also and numerous nieces and nephews.   Doyle was preceded in death by his Mother and by his brother, Kenney Glenn.
