Dorothy M. Gaston

Dorothy Mae Gaston, 89 of Ballinger, TX (formerly of Lampasas) died Tuesday September 5, 2017 in San Angelo. Dorothy was born January 22, 1928 in Satin, TX the daughter of Emil Reinhold Polley and Annie (Schrader) Polley. She married Marion Gaston and was a homemaker. She was a member of Victory Baptist Church in Copperas Cove. Dorothy earned her Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees from Baylor University.   She is survived by Son, Eddie Gaston of Ballinger and several other relatives.   Dorothy was preceded in death by her son Vernon Gaston who was killed in Afghanistan in 2003, and by her husband Marion in January of 2016.   Graveside service will be conducted at 1:00 p.m. Saturday September 9, 2017 at Oak Hill Cemetery in Lampasas.
